Payment Expectations at Time of Service
Beginning September 1st, we will be implementing a new financial policy at our dental practice. Moving forward, your portion of the cost of care not covered by insurance will be due in full at the time of service.
For many of you, this won’t be a change at all as most of our patients already pay their full portion at the time of treatment, and we appreciate your help in keeping things simple and efficient. This update is part of our commitment to providing exceptional care in a streamlined, patient-first environment. Collecting your patient portion at the time of your visit allows us to:
- Reduce administrative burdens so our team can focus on your care, not billing paperwork
- Minimize billing errors and delayed collections that can affect your experience
- Improve scheduling reliability and reduce last-minute cancellations
- Support the availability of care for all patients by reducing unpaid balances
- Keep administrative costs down so we can maintain competitive fees
- Help you avoid surprise bills weeks or months after your visit
- Stay consistent with standard and best practices with other healthcare fields
We understand that dental treatment is an investment, and we’re here to work with you. We proudly offer third-party financing options, including Sunbit, to make care more accessible and payments more manageable. Approval typically takes just minutes and can be completed from your phone.
If you have insurance, our team will continue to submit claims on your behalf and answer any questions about coverage, benefits, and estimates. Please remember that insurance companies provide estimates, not guarantees, and the patient portion quoted may change based on their final claim processing.
We know change can take some adjustment, but we believe this update will improve your experience, eliminate billing confusion, and support a higher standard of care for every patient we serve.
